2013 Outdoor Schedule

The 2013 Outdoor Schedule.

The 2013 Outdoor Season Program allows players to develop at their own pace and enjoy the game to their fullest potential by separating the beginners (Recreational or Basic) from the experienced (XP All-Star).  Players of equal skill level are placed into teams that have volunteer coaches which are supervised by experienced volunteers.  There is 1 game & 1 practice per week (except tots).  See the tentative schedule below for age divisions, locations & game day.  The "X" in the schedule marks the evening the game will be each week.  Games & practices start after 6pm (you will be notified of the exact schedule in late May).

How to read the Schedule
The year listed indicates the player's year of birth.  The "U" rating in front of the year indicates that all players were "Under" that age before January 1st of the current year of that season.  Example, in the 2013 season, all players in the U7 division were under the age of 7 BEFORE January 1, 2013.  More simpler, they were bore in 2006 or later (2007).  The schedule below indicates the GAME day.  If more than one time is listed, some weeks your team will play at the first time and some weeks at the second time.  The practice day is on a different day than your game day.  Your assigned coach will inform you in the month of May which day is your practice day.  That day will be the same day each week.  If the practice day is inconvenient, you can request which day you want to practice by switching to another team (for games and practices).  Such a request would be done in May.  Players should attend at least half the games and half the practices.  You will NOT be expelled for missing many games or practices.  Practices are at the same location as the games.

The Recreational House League
is for players that have never played in a club before or players of general skill level.  Games are at the same location(s) every week.  The program's emphasis is on having fun while learning and playing soccer.  There are no try-outs.  Every player qualifies.  The program is co-ed except at the ones marked girls only.
The XP All-Star House League is for players that have played in a club before & may be required to participate in an evaluation to qualify (except U18 which is for all skill levels).  The games are more competitive than the Recreational House League.  This league is not for beginners.  Games are always in Scarborough at selected locations.  Practices will be at the team's home field.  i.e. If you belong to the West Hill All-Star team, you practice at the West Hill field.  Note that this All-Star League is not the same as a tournament team.  If you are interested in tournaments, please contact JFK.
